Job summary

The Fordy Group in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a motivated Construction Estimator to join our growing team. You will work on diverse commercial projects, including ground-up construction and tenant improvements, while shaping estimates from early concept through bid readiness.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and leadership to develop accurate, competitive estimates, with opportunities for rapid career advancement and ESOP participation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction estimating (ground-up and TI projects).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive mindset with a desire to grow into senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial ground-up and TI projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents

The Fordy Group have partnered with a leading GC who are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Portland, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who wants to work on diverse commercial projects, including both ground-up construction and tenant improvements, while benefiting from a clear path for rapid career advancement.

You’ll play a key role in shaping project success from the earliest stages, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and leadership to develop accurate, competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial ground-up and TI projects
