Job summary

Gulfstream Petroleum Services is seeking a Project Estimator to oversee petroleum construction projects from planning through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and regulatory requirements while serving as the primary contact for clients.

The role requires 3+ years in project management within petroleum or infrastructure, strong knowledge of fuel systems and compliance, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in petroleum, construction, or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of fuel systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with government or healthcare facilities preferred.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage petroleum projects including AST/UST systems, generator fuel systems, day tanks, and fuel piping.
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and permitting agencies.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for petroleum projects including aboveground and underground tanks, piping, pumps.
• Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and scope documents to develop accurate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site visits and lead progress meetings.
• Communicate proactively with clients and stakeholders.
• Resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The Role

We’re looking for aProject Estimatorto oversee petroleum construction projects from planning through completion. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and regulatory requirements while serving as the primary point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage petroleum projects including AST/UST systems, generator fuel systems, day tanks, and fuel piping
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and permitting agencies
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for petroleum projects including:
  • Aboveground and underground fuel tank installations and removals
  • Generator fueling systems and day tanks
  • Fuel piping, pumps, filtration systems, and remote fills
  • Monthly compliance inspections, maintenance, and diesel fuel polishing
• Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and scope documents to develop accurate estimates
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards
• Conduct site visits and lead progress meetings
• Communicate proactively with clients and stakeholders
• Resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget
