Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator

Location: Lowell, MA

We are seeking experienced Commercial Construction Estimators for a mid-sized General Contractor focusing on:

• Retail
• Hospitality
• Corporate Interiors and Offices
• Multi-Unit Residential

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Perform quantity take-offs using estimating software and manual methods.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and project requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Develop and maintain historical cost databases for future reference.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options.
• Support handoff to project management team after award of contract.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with a General Contractor or Design-Build firm.
• Experience in one of the specified markets.
