Job summary

SERVPRO of Adamstown Mohnton is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing reconstruction division in Central Pennsylvania. You will prepare detailed residential and commercial reconstruction estimates, inspect sites, and coordinate with insurers and project teams to ensure accurate, profitable budgets.

The role requires 3+ years of estimating experience, strong knowledge of residential construction, proficiency with Xactimate, and excellent negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods.
• Experience with Xactimate.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed residential and commercial reconstruction estimates using Xactimate.
• Perform on-site inspections to document damage and develop repair scopes.
• Negotiate estimates and supplements with insurance adjusters.
• Develop budgets and monitor project profitability.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, mitigation teams, and office staff.
• Ensure estimates comply with local building codes and insurance guidelines.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications when applicable.
• Assist with change orders and supplemental estimates throughout construction.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communication with customers.

As our reconstruction division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in helping homeowners and commercial clients rebuild after fire, water, storm, and mold losses.

If you have experience estimating insurance restoration projects, negotiating with insurance carriers, and managing project budgets, we\'d love to talk with you.
