Job summary

Kapella Group in Centennial, CO is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for a range of commercial construction projects. The role requires deep knowledge of cost analysis, CSI divisions, and delivery methods including GMP and hard bid.

You will develop quantity takeoffs, bid strategies, and GMP proposals, manage subcontractor bids, and collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and operations teams to deliver accurate, competitive bids.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience (5-10 preferred for senior-level candidates)
• Proven experience estimating ground-up, renovation, TI, and/or design-build projects
• Strong working knowledge of CSI divisions
• Experience with GMP contracts and hard bid procurement
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and addenda accurately
• Strong subcontractor network and bid leveling experience
• Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, Procore, Sage, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff)
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing commercial construction team. This individual will lead the estimating process for a variety of commercial projects and play a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive, and profitable bids.
