Responsibilities

1. Understand the requirements of the project/program at hand.
2. Select metrics to produce valid estimates.
3. Visit sites, warehouses, and other venues to gather essential information.
4. Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data.
5. Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties.
6. Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes.
7. Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, architects, etc.).

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a construction estimator.
2. Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.
