Job summary

Invoke Staffing client in Atlanta seeks a Construction Estimator to support ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects. You will develop budgets, analyze constructability, and coordinate with PMs, design teams, and trade partners from concept through GMP.

Ideal candidates have 0-2+ years in preconstruction or estimating, a degree in CM/Engineering (or equivalent), and familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or ProEst. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of experience in preconstruction or estimating at a commercial or multifamily general contractor is preferable
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• Working knowledge of estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar)
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost drivers
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Base salary: $80,000–$100,000 commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates throughout project design phases
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor bids
• Assist in developing project budgets, GMPs, and value engineering options
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal project teams during design development
• Track market pricing trends and maintain historical cost data
• Support constructability reviews and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities
• Help prepare bid packages, scopes of work, and preconstruction schedules
• Participate in owner and design team meetings as needed

Position Summary

The Construction Estimator will support the estimating process for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use developments, working closely with project manager, design teams, and trade partners to develop accurate budgets, schedules, and constructability assessments from early conceptual stages through GMP.
