Lloyd Companies Inc is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the VP of Construction and project managers on commercial and multifamily initiatives. This role involves assembling estimates, evaluating quotes, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to ensure cost-effective, quality outcomes.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to manage deadlines and documentation.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience with multi-family and/or commercial projects.
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong analytical cost analysis and budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team.
• Knowledge of building codes and energy-efficient techniques.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Create proposals for both simple and complex RFPs.
• Receive and evaluate quotes for applicable scopes and bid alignment.
• Qualify vendor proposals to detect scope gaps.
• Develop and maintain client/vendor relationships and records.
• File Subcontracts, Quotes, and Project Documents within 24 hours.
• Prepare detailed cost comparisons and take-offs.
• Collaborate to negotiate and award projects to vendors.
• Draft scopes of work for subs and material suppliers.
• Verify Subcontracts and POs are in place.
• Assist in standardizing policies and department procedures.
• Support Project Managers with administrative tasks.
