Job summary

Goley Insulation, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to support our Preconstruction and Project Management teams in preparing accurate cost estimates and bid packages for renovations and commercial builds.

This internship offers hands-on experience with takeoffs, plan reviews, and project coordination at our Dupo, IL location. You'll learn estimating software, collaborate with engineers and managers, and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, with potential for full-time employment

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and strongly interested in construction estimation.
• Experience reading plans and specifications is preferred.
• Familiarity with takeoffs, bid packages, and project coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist on projects of varying size and complexity in estimation and preconstruction.
• Review plans, specifications, and related documents for accuracy.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and preliminary estimates; help assemble bid packages.
