Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services seeks a Construction Equipment Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a full line of construction equipment, read electrical and hydraulic schematics, and create detailed repair scopes for quoting. You will collaborate with the Service and Parts teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Requirements include 2+ years of repair experience, 3–5 years in preventative maintenance, High School diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction equipment repair experience.
• 3-5 years in preventative maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read OEM specifications and schematics.
• Good communications skills (verbal and written).
• Mechanical aptitude with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on a full line of construction equipment.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting for minor and major repairs.
• Create detailed parts and labor repair scopes for quoting.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics, service and parts diagrams.
• Work with Service and Parts teams to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Willing to work overtime and be on a rotating on-call list.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections on service trucks per DOT regulations.
