Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking personnel to support on-site operations at active construction sites in Baton Rouge, LA. You will move through varied terrains, inspect work areas, access materials and equipment, and perform duties with safety as a priority.

You will communicate with crew members, read and apply basic plans, adapt to changing conditions, and contribute to quality and productivity on-site.

Responsibilities

• Move through active construction sites with uneven terrain, mud, gravel, sand, and other surface conditions.
• Inspect work and access materials, equipment, structures, and work areas at ground level, overhead, and restricted access.
• Ascend/descend stairs, ladders, scaffolding and other elevated surfaces while following safety rules.
• Handle and use hand and power tools, equipment, instruments, and materials.
• Lift or carry materials up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
• Communicate with crew, supervisors, clients, subcontractors, and vendors in field and office.
• Understand written, verbal, electronic, and visual information to support safe job performance.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and dusty conditions.
• Work in confined spaces or restricted access as project needs require.
• Perform activities from sedentary to heavy physical exertion.
