Job summary

Atlantic Coast Toyotalift is seeking a Construction Equipment Mechanic in Winston-Salem, NC to perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and engine systems, ensuring heavy equipment stays in peak condition.

The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience with construction equipment, strong diagnostic skills, welding basics, A/C knowledge, and a commitment to customer service. Training and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have experience repairing construction equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and hydrostatic operating systems is preferred.
• Electrical/CAN Bus troubleshooting experience is required.
• Gas and diesel engine knowledge is essential.
• Diagnostic testing using computer tools is expected.
• Basic welding skills are beneficial.
• Auto A/C system knowledge is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are important.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have experience working with construction or compact construction equipment repair and the following:

• Working knowledge of hydraulic devices and hydrostatic operating systems


• Electrical/CAN Bus troubleshooting experience


• Working knowledge of gas and diesel engines


• Comfortable using computer technology for diagnostic testing purposes


• Basic welding skills


• Auto A/C system knowledge and experience


• Good written and verbal communication skills


• Provide a high level of customer service


• Have full set of mechanics tools and basic electrical test equipment


• CDL or Class B or be eligible to achieve CDL a plus


• Must have acceptable driving record (may need to assist Road tech from time-to-time)

Salary Description

$23 - $45 per hour
