Job summary

Best Line Equipment in Towanda, PA is seeking an experienced construction and industrial equipment mechanic to join our shop-based service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet, including skid steers, aerial equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery.

This full-time position offers 40–50 hours per week with limited weekend work, paid training, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, STD/ LTD), plus a 401(k) with company match and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical abilities are required.
• Ideal applicant possesses welding/fabrication, DC electrical, hydraulic, and combustion skills.
• Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced construction and industrial equipment mechanic to join our growing service team in Towanda, PA. This is a shop-based role working on compact and heavy equipment including but not limited to skid steers, aerial equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery. If you have experience independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment while working alongside a strong team in a clean, well-equipped shop environment, we want to speak to you!

Job Overview:

• Set-up, Diagnose, Repair, Service, Inspect, and Maintain a variety of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
• Support safe and organized shop environment.
• Complete repairs and maintenance efficiently.
• Full-time position, 40-50 hours per week.
• Limited weekends (typically 1 Saturday a month during peak season).
• Paid on-line and in-person training.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $25.00/hour (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ideal applicant would possess a mixed skill set that includes (not limited to): welding/fabrication, DC electrical, hydraulic, and combustion.
• Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
