The Middlesex Corporation seeks a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair construction equipment and company vehicles used in paving, grading, and site development. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance in both shop and field environments, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience on various equipment, can work independently, and communicates clearly with supervisors and operators.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on construction equipment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Flexible to work on varying schedules.
• Must have own tools. CDL license is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on equipment such as pavers, rollers, skid steers, trucks, trailers, and small tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Complete daily work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide field service repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area with proper PPE.
