Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation in Littleton, MA is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on a wide range of construction equipment and company vehicles used in paving, grading, and site development. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and work in both shop and field settings.

The ideal candidate has at least five years' experience, can work independently, and is committed to safety and reliability. Must have own tools; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on construction equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• CDL license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on equipment including pavers, rollers, skid steers, trucks, trailers, and small tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Provide field service repairs as needed.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and operators regarding repair needs and timelines.
