Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking an Equipment Mechanic in El Paso, TX to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on construction equipment, following manufacturer specifications and supporting the company’s strategy and values. The role includes diagnosing issues, documenting work, and coordinating parts orders for repairs.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED; apprentice or vocational training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Apprentice program or vocational training in equipment repair preferred.
• Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventative maintenance and diagnostic inspections on construction equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns on site or via phone with field operations.
• Documents and data enters completed maintenance and repairs accurately.
• Maintains timely communication with internal and external partners via calls and emails.
• Orders parts for equipment repair using the work order system, according to manufacturer specs.
• Receives, organizes, stores, and distributes equipment parts and supplies.
