Job summary

Mustang Cat is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Driver in Southwest Houston to transport Caterpillar and allied equipment to customers and Mustang branches. You will ensure loads are securely strapped, deliveries are accurate, and DOT logs are maintained in accordance with regulations.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and experience hauling rental construction equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with DOT safety policies followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• At least 1 year of experience driving commercial DOT-regulated vehicles.
• Experience hauling rental construction equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver log procedures (paper and e-log).
• Experience operating and securing heavy equipment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport Caterpillar and allied equipment to customers and Mustang branches.
• Ensure loads are safely secured and deliveries are accurate.
• Maintain DOT driver logs and required documentation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain truck cleanliness inside and out and complete inspection logs.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.
