Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our Rancho Cucamonga warehouse team.

You will safely deliver and retrieve construction equipment and materials to jobsites, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and clear communications with dispatch. In addition to driving, you will support warehouse operations, load and unload, inspect cargo, and help with inventory and yard maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of delivery experience related to construction equipment.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record (≤2 points in past five years).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Physical ability to load, unload and handle equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Proficient in English communication, with the ability to write reports and emails clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate company stake beds or vehicles to deliver or pick-up various sized equipment and material.
• Hook-up, attach or disconnect trailers to vehicles as needed.
• Tow trailers as needed to transport equipment and materials when required.
• Tie-down and inspect cargo ensuring department policies are practiced.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure paperwork and email communication is completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and other team members regarding delivery arrival times.
• Perform general maintenance and warehouse duties during non-drive time.
• Adaptable to work independently and as part of a team.
• Operate forklifts to move equipment as needed.
• Additional duties will be assigned as needed to support the operations of the department.
