Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A Driver to transport materials and equipment across Southern California. This local role includes loading and unloading, yard duties, and strict safety compliance.

Schedule Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime. Requires CDL, construction driving experience, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and DOT drug test. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required; FMCSA-accepted.
• Two years of commercial driving in construction preferred.
• Ability to perform physical work, lifting up to 50 lb continuously.
• Pass a pre-employment DOT drug test.
• Valid DOT medical form.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, box trucks, and service body vehicles.
• Hook up and tow trailers as needed using appropriate equipment.
• Load and unload materials while following proper securement and tie‑down procedures.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Communicate delivery timeframes, delays, and updates with dispatch and management.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist with warehouse and yard duties during non‑driving periods.
• Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as assigned.
