Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, & Plumbing, Inc. seeks an experienced Class A Driver to support our California operations from Rancho Cucamonga. Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m.

to 2:30 a.m., with optional overtime. You will safely operate flatbed and box trucks, hook trailers, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatch. Valid FMCSA Class A license and 2 years construction driving preferred; ability to lift 50 lb; DOT drug test and DOT medical

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (FMCSA) required.
• Two years of commercial driving experience in a construction environment preferred.
• Ability to perform physical work, lifting up to 50 lb continuously.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test.
• Valid DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, box trucks, and service body vehicles.
• Hook up and tow trailers as needed using appropriate equipment.
• Load and unload materials with proper securing and tie-down procedures.
• Maintain driver logs and documentation per regulations.
• Communicate delivery timeframes, delays, and updates with dispatch and management.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
• Assist with warehouse and yard duties during non-driving periods.
• Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as assigned.

Schedule

• Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Overtime opportunities may be available on a weekly basis but are not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed trucks, heavy‑duty vehicles, box trucks, and service body vehicles
• Hook up and tow trailers as needed using appropriate equipment
• Load and unload materials while following proper securement and tie‑down procedures
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Communicate delivery timeframes, delays, and updates with dispatch and management
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Assist with warehouse and yard duties during non-driving periods
• Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Class A commercial driver's license accepted by the FMCSA
• Two years of commercial driving experience within a construction environment desired
• Ability to perform physical work, lifting or pulling up to 50lb continuously during the work shift
• Pass a pre‑employment DOT drug test
• Valid D.O.T medical form
