Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA seeks an experienced Facilities Program Manager to lead planning, design, and oversight for new or expanded facilities. You will coordinate recruitment, training, and performance assessments, and supervise external contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in capital projects, and knowledge of manufacturing equipment installation and construction processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, production, or project management.
• Experience delivering capital and overhead facility projects on time and on budget.
• Knowledge of facilities layout, design, engineering, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and oversight of new or expanded facilities construction.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance assessment for staff.
• Direct preparation of architectural, engineering, and cost estimates, plans, specs, and schedules.
• Supervise outside contractors and ensure conformance with contracts.
• Oversee procedures for facility design standards and budgeted cost estimates.
• Oversee detailed design, budgeting, and final inspections of projects.
• Ensure engineering consulting services are provided to local and divisional offices.
