Job summary

This internship offers hands-on experience on projects around Anchorage and Fairbanks, mentoring from experienced staff, and exposure to safety programs and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be working towards a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculations and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design/drawings for takeoff and bidding.
• Prepare and distribute required documentation and status reports.
• Provide technical support on materials and schedules; assist with change orders and estimates.
• Develop data for quantity take-offs and material pricing to support bids.
• Maintain records of quantities for cost controls on projects.
