GFT is seeking a Construction Engineering Inspector to join our Construction Services team in Charlotte and/or Asheville. What You Will Do

• Perform field inspections, design calculations, verify dimensions and project data, and examine workmanship for standards compliance.
• Work under supervision of a field engineer, project manager, or senior team member.

Education | Experience

• Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, engineers, contractors, and the public.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends within NC.
• Apply safety principles to all operations.
• Work safely outdoors, exposed to hazards like heights, traffic, and rough terrain.
• Perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Close visual acuity for plan review and site inspection.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Valid NC Driver's License.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $50,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and location.
