Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC, located in Irving, Texas, is seeking an experienced engineering professional to analyze and implement generation technologies across Vistra operations and development projects. The role focuses on long-range program planning, 3rd-party coordination, and enhancing technology availability and performance.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, PE licensure, and extensive experience in fossil, solar, battery, or nuclear plant technologies.

Qualifications

• BS or greater in an Engineering discipline; Civil Engineering experience highly preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or meets additional years of experience requirements.
• Recognized within Vistra as a SME; known as a technical resource.
• Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory, code and industry issues to resolve Vistra's interests.
• Proficient with business/technical evaluation processes.
• Proficient in fossil, solar, battery, or nuclear plant technologies.
• Extensive experience in power plant operations/engineering or comparable industries.
• Mastery of fundamental scientific principles.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and execute corporate programs with minimal oversight.
