Job summary

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a Construction Engineer to join our team at Cheyenne Mountain SFS. The candidate will apply civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical engineering principles to plan, design, and manage facility projects with strict regulatory compliance.

You will prepare estimates, budgets, and detailed plans; collaborate across disciplines; manage construction activities to meet schedules and budgets; and document progress with technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent related experience.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience developing plans, solutions, and civil/electrical/structural designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
• Ability to obtain a clearance at the level of Secret (must be a U.S. citizen for eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil/electrical/structural/mechanical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare construction estimates and project budgets.
• Draft detailed engineering plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage construction activities to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings.
