Job summary
UNICO Engineering is seeking a Construction Engineer with 2-5 years of experience and an EIT certification to support project delivery in Northern and Central California. The ideal candidate should have experience with transportation projects, particularly understanding Caltrans standards. Responsibilities include managing project records, facilitating meetings, and reviewing contractor compliance. Qualifications
2 years of relevant construction experience with a BS degree or 8 years of relevant Construction Engineering experience.
Experience with California infrastructure projects.
Understanding of Caltrans Process and local agency standards.
Responsibilities
Facilitate and attend meetings with the Contractor and clients.
Manage and document project records.
Review and respond to RFIs and letters.
Document and authorize payments for the project.
Prepare final project closeout documents.

Certified Engineer-in-Training
