TYLin is seeking a Construction Engineer in the Chicago area to provide full-time on-site oversight for water and sewer infrastructure projects. You will coordinate daily construction activities, review submittals and pay applications, monitor schedules, and serve as a key liaison among the Owner, contractors, and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 4–5+ years in Resident Engineer activities, and familiarity with PMPs/PMGs; CCM or PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 4-5+ years of experience in Resident Engineer activities and managing construction field teams on water and/or sewer infrastructure projects.
• Experience with water and sewer construction projects, PMP's and PMG's familiarity a plus.
• Preferred Certifications, but not required: CCM or PE
• Candidate must have reliable transportation.

Job Summary

• Preferred Certifications, but not required: Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE)
• Candidate must have reliable transportation.

Additional Information

T.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $88,800 - $110,000 annually for this position and local market.
