Job summary

TYLin seeks a Senior Construction Inspector in Indianapolis to join our growing PMCM team on water and wastewater distribution and underground projects. You will observe, inspect, and document underground construction as an Owner’s representative, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and permits while managing punch lists and payment processes.

Ideal candidate has 8–10+ years of municipal or state project experience, a degree in engineering or construction, strong integrity, and collaborative

• 8-10+ years of water or transportation engineering consulting experience.
• Experience performing studies, design, and construction services for municipal, state, or private clients.
• Ability to observe, inspect, and document underground utility construction as an Owner’s representative.
• Strong commitment to innovation and ethical, sustainable practices.
• Experience using GSP equipment.
• Collaborative experience in diverse teams toward technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and document underground utility construction as an Owner’s representative.
• Ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and permit requirements.
• Document contractor progress, maintain quantity records, process payment requests, generate punch lists, and certify completion status.
• Create and track work orders for each project.
