Job summary

Kapur & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Engineer in our Appleton office to work on WisDOT and local agency roadway and bridge projects.

You will lead construction oversight, manage relationships with WisDOT and municipalities, and ensure quality and documentation throughout projects. Ideal candidates have Civil Engineering or Construction Management training, field inspection experience, and strong communication skills to collaborate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of two summers of field construction inspection experience with WisDOT, Illinois Tollway, IDOT, or another government agency.
• Strong knowledge of roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to lead and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with CADD or plan preparation for civil infrastructure projects is beneficial.

Kapur is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Appleton office as a Construction Engineer. In this role, you will work on WisDOT or other local agency roadway and bridge construction projects. This position has strong opportunities for growth and advancement as we continue to expand our transportation engineering business line in Wisconsin. We encourage highly motivated engineers or technicians that have a strong interest in advancing in transportation engineering and construction inspection to apply.
