Job summary

Resource Services Group (RSGx) seeks experienced Construction Electricians for a major project just outside Newman in WA. You will work on ME&I electrical installations and pre-commissioning tasks using modern test equipment.

Applicants must have WA Electrical Licence, CPR/LVR and First Aid, Construction Card, and relevant site training. Australian Working Rights and a manual driver’s licence are required. 3+ years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current WA Electrical Licence required.
• CPR / LVR & First Aid certification required.
• Construction Card (White) required.
• Training in Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry and EWP 11mtr plus.

Responsibilities

• Install instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Terminate power and control cables and general equipment.
• Earth grounding of transformers, motors, cable tray and bonds.
• Carry out small to medium cable pulls.
• Complete QA and ITRs.
• Assist with pre-commissioning activities.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Construction Electricians to join our team on a major resource project just outside Newman in WA. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering critical infrastructure in the heart of the Pilbara, one of Australia’s most significant and dynamic resource regions. The role offers exposure to industry-leading standards, modern test equipment, and the chance to contribute to a project that will play a key role in supporting ongoing operations in the mining sector.

Work Scope:

As a Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Installation of instrumentation and electric equipment
• Termination power and control cables and general equipment
• Earthing of electric equipment such as transformers, motors, cable tray and structural bonds
• Small to medium cable pulls
• QA and completion of ITRs
• Pre-Commissioning

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current WA Electrical Licence
• Current CPR / LVR & First Aid
• Construction Card (White)
• Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, EWP 11mtr plus
• Current Australian Drivers Licence (Manual)
• Australian Working Rights
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience
