Job summary

Professional Employment Group of Colorado is seeking an experienced electrical estimator to review plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare competitive estimates for commercial projects in Colorado. You will work closely with management and vendors to refine bids and ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical estimating, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with Trimble Accubid Anywhere, LiveCount, BlueBeam, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience required.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

What You'll Do

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for commercial electrical projects
• Perform detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment
• Develop accurate project estimates and competitive proposals
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
• Coordinate with project management for smooth project turnover
• Track bid results and refine estimating strategies

What We're Looking For

• 3 or more years of electrical estimating experience
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of the NEC, NFPA 72, and other buildingcodes.
• Experience withTrimble Accubid Anywhere Estimating & LiveCount, BlueBeam and Microsoft 365
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred

• Journeyman electrician background
• Commercial construction estimating experience
