Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Summer Internship in the Forensic Accounting & Claims Consulting practice in Dallas. You will work on a variety of projects with different engagement teams and gain hands-on experience in claim quantification and data management.

You will collaborate with professionals—from Analysts through Directors—on tasks such as fact-finding, cost allocation, damages analysis, and data organization to support client deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient in Excel, Access and Microsoft Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design financial and accounting models quantifying losses (business interruption, extra expense, etc.).
• Prepare annual business interruption and property renewal values.
• Analyze financial statements and other pertinent documentation.
• Develop sensitivity analyses related to loss measurements.
• Reconcile claim amounts to accounting systems and to insurers’ calculations.
• Participate on multiple engagements with varying project size and scope.
