Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Construction Intern to develop analytical skills while supporting our Construction, Disputes & Advisory Business Group. Interns work with project team leaders and experts, performing detailed analyses of schedules, costs, productivity, and statistics, and assisting with document review and database management.

Interns often have early client-facing exposure, helping with planning, construction, dispute resolution, and contributing to major project challenges worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with strong academics.
  • Must be able to obtain U.S. work authorization.
  • Highly motivated, energetic and collaborative.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Primavera scheduling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with data gathering, document reviews, and database creation/management.
  • Performs analyses of project schedule delays, costs, productivity, and change orders.
  • Uses software to model schedules and contractor production rates.
  • Produces high quality work product and supports review by seniors.
  • Prepares client-ready deliverables for senior-level review.
  • Supports firm development efforts.
