About the Role

As a Construction Delivery Driver, you'll drive company-owned trucks and make lumber and material deliveries for construction projects. Your reliability and attention to safe driving will help crews get the materials they need to keep work moving. This position involves driving and visiting construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to transport and deliver lumber and other construction materials to jobsites.


• Inspect and select high-quality lumber and construction materials, identifying and rejecting warped, damaged, defective, or substandard materials.


• Deliver, unload, and properly stage materials at jobsites to support construction crews.


• Coordinate delivery details with the team and follow delivery instructions.


• Communicate any delivery delays, material issues, or other concerns promptly.


• Assist construction crews with loading and unloading, cleanup, material handling, and general construction tasks as needed.


• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.


• Work reliably with the construction team to ensure materials are delivered efficiently and job sites remain organized.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the company vehicles operated.


• Driving record that meets the company's applicable insurance and safety requirements.


• Dependability and reliable attendance.


• Ability to drive company vehicles safely.


• Ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment screening requirements, consistent with California law and the requirements of the position.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment


• Pay: $23 - $26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.


• Schedule and Overtime: The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime depending on project requirements. All overtime will be paid in accordance with California law.


• Company Vehicles: Company trucks and equipment are provided for authorized work-related use. Employees are not expected to provide their own trucks for deliveries.
