Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Construction Defect practice in the San Francisco or Walnut Creek offices. The candidate should have at least three years of defense construction defect experience and must be admitted to the California bar.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in construction defect defense.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in California.
• Experience with motion practice and depositions.
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle local and national accounts within California.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review and analyze discovery requests; respond to pleadings.
• Prepare court filings and serve counsel; experience with e-filing.
• Provide trial preparation and support; maintain accurate time records.
