Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to investigate and adjust property and casualty claims, both residential and commercial, with minimal supervision. You will inspect claims, determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with clients to uphold service levels.

Responsibilities include interviewing claimants, assessing damages, preparing estimates, and maintaining strong client relationships while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; IIA-AIC designation required; appropriate state adjuster license required.
• Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to timely reporting and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspects claims and contacts involved parties in a timely manner.
• Investigates circumstances of claim(s) to determine coverage, cause, and damages/reserves.
• Examines policies and records to determine coverage.
• Prepares estimates for cost of repair and/or replacement.
• Conducts interviews with claimant and witnesses for submitted claims.
• Negotiates and settles both first and third party claims.
• Manages salvage and subrogation as required by the client.
