Job summary

Hawkins Construction Company seeks a Construction Data Analyst to turn project and financial data into actionable reporting. You will own the Power BI environment and work with data from Viewpoint Vista ERP, reporting to the IT Coordinator and collaborating with procurement, project management, accounting, HR, and executive leadership.

This role is 100% on-site. Responsibilities include building BI reports, validating data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data analysis, BI, or similar role.
• Strong BI proficiency (Power BI preferred).
• Excel proficiency required.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and data models for cost, labor, and project performance.
• Extract, model, and validate data using SQL and Power Query.
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc analyses to project managers and leadership.
• Explain cost variances in clear, practical terms.
