Job summary

Invenergy, LLC, based in Chicago, IL, seeks a Manager of Project Analytics to lead the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards that translate complex project data into actionable insights for executives. You will mentor a small analytics team and partner with Construction, Project Controls, and Data Engineering to ensure data quality and impact.

The role requires 8+ years in cost management or analytics on large capital projects, plus deep Power BI expertise and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in cost management, project controls, construction analytics, or advisory roles on large capital projects.
• 2+ years of people management experience (direct reports) or leading and developing others.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and Power Query/M).
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, dataflows, semantic layer design) and cloud data platforms (Azure/Fabric/Snowflake).
• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to translate between technical and business audiences.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing construction analytics team through coaching and career development.
• Own the team’s intake and delivery process: prioritize work, assign resources, manage timelines, ensure quality.
• Support planning, coordination, and evaluation of construction financial and performance reporting under Construction leadership.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize project health and KPIs across cost, schedule, productivity, and risk.
• Establish QA/QC checks and reporting standards for accuracy and repeatability of portfolio reporting.
• Present dashboards and demos to promote adoption of analytics tools.
