Job summary

AMIkids Pensacola is seeking a Career & Technical Instructor (Construction) to lead hands-on training for youth in construction trades on-site in Pensacola, FL. The role emphasizes adherence to industry standards, instructional guidelines, and program quality.

You will design practical lesson plans, assess student progress, and guide youth toward career pathways, with emphasis on safety, PPE usage, and documentation. Two years of relevant experience and credential readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years relevant experience.
• Prior experience working with youth a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain industry specific recognized credentials.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and oversee youth training in identified career and technical development.
• Assess and evaluate academic needs of youth; provide professional instruction to a diverse population.
• Advise youth on career options and further coursework.
• Provide instruction aligned with lesson plans, IEPs and blended learning.
• Design hands-on lessons enabling proper use of tools and techniques.
• Create and administer exams to evaluate progress.
• Maintain youth records and certification documentation.
• Attend required crisis intervention, CPR and First Aid training.
