Nextlink in Hudson Oaks, TX is hiring a Full-time field installer to lay and install tower foundations, trench conduit, and perform outdoor civil work in various Texas locations.
You will operate hand tools, work with a team, pass drug and background checks, and travel up to 75% with possible overnight stays. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift 60+ pounds. Benefits included.
We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K-12 Education and government customers. We believe there is much more to an internet company than just delivering cost-effective internet solutions; we believe in delivering an overall customer experience that our competitors simply cannot match. The applicant will have the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully layout a site and install tower foundations, ability to tie and place rebar cages, install equipment shelter foundations, finish exposed concrete and tower road constructions.

Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience with basic hand tools Work Environment/Hazards: Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles Moderate noise level Use of PPE Working in elevated places such as towers Physical Demands: Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of at least 60 pounds or more Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers and work in an elevated position Frequently required to use hand and power tools Working Hours/Days: Min 40 hours, flexible Overtime as needed Travel Requirements: 75% travel required Some overnight will be required
