Nextlink in Hudson Oaks, TX is hiring a Full-time field installer to lay and install tower foundations, trench conduit, and perform outdoor civil work in various Texas locations.

You will operate hand tools, work with a team, pass drug and background checks, and travel up to 75% with possible overnight stays. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift 60+ pounds. Benefits included.

The applicant will have the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully layout a site and install tower foundations, ability to tie and place rebar cages, install equipment shelter foundations, finish exposed concrete and tower road constructions.

Essential Functions

Responsible for company provided vehicle, trailer, tools, equipment and supplies Excavating, forming, and pouring tower foundation spread footings Forming footings, walls, and slabs Tie rebar mats, and cages Trenching and installing PVC conduit and ground rings Fencing of foundation perimeters Other duties as assigned Skills: Ability to lift/pull heavy equipment Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written Comfortable working outdoors in the elements while working with a great team Ability to climb extended heights is a plus but not required Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience with basic hand tools Work Environment/Hazards: Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles Moderate noise level Use of PPE Working in elevated places such as towers Physical Demands: Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of at least 60 pounds or more Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers and work in an elevated position Frequently required to use hand and power tools Working Hours/Days: Min 40 hours, flexible Overtime as needed Travel Requirements: 75% travel required Some overnight will be required
