About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Crew Leader with a strong background in landscape construction, irrigation systems, and heavy equipment operation. In this leadership role, you will oversee field crews on landscape installation and irrigation projects, ensuring safe practices, high-quality execution, and on-time completion. This role is critical in maintaining our high standards and reputation in the market.

What You Will Do

• Lead and supervise crews in landscape construction projects including irrigation installation, sod/plant installation, and grading.
• Operate heavy machinery such as skid steers, Bobcats, and excavators for trenching, grading, and material movement.
• Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex irrigation systems (commercial and residential).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Coordinate materials, labor, and equipment needed for daily tasks.
• Train, guide, and evaluate crew members to improve performance and maintain productivity.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients on job status, progress, and challenges.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Enforce and model safety procedures, including PPE and equipment protocols.

What You Will Need

• 3–5 years of experience in landscape construction and irrigation installation (lead or foreman level).
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation techniques.
• Proven experience operating Bobcats, mini-excavators, and other related machinery.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred, but not required).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and irrigation schematics.
• Leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and mentor a field crew.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and complete physically demanding tasks.

Compensation for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 hourly, depending on experience.
