Job summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades across multiple projects. You will build a diverse pipeline, run manpower syncs with field leaders, and coordinate onsite hiring events to fill hourly craft roles.

You will manage sourcing across job boards, social channels, referrals, and trade schools, while maintaining a strong candidate experience and data-driven KPI tracking for time-to-hire and retention.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recruiting for construction skilled trades.
• Experience filling high-volume field roles across multiple sites.
• Strong sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and trades boards; proactive outreach to candidates

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades across projects and regions.
• Build diverse pipeline through outreach on job boards, social media, referrals, and schools.
• Run weekly manpower syncs with Superintendents/PMs and translate schedules into recruiting plans.
• Coordinate hiring events, job fairs and onsite interviews; manage pre-hire paperwork and start dates.
• Drive candidate experience end-to-end with clear expectations and timely communication.
• Track KPIs (time-to-hire, source quality, show-up rate, 90-day retention, cost-per-hire) and adjust tactics.
• Partner with Marketing to refresh trade ads and social campaigns.
