Qualifications

• 0-2000 hours (0‑1 years) of experience working as a laborer or in any construction craft as a helper.
• Must have all necessary tools (see Laborer tool list).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging, material handling, and site cleanup.
• Assist journeymen and other craft workers; use hand and power tools.
• Follow safety rules, report hazards, and participate in pre-job safety discussions.
• Learn to read and understand plans and specifications; coordinate with team to lay out work.
