Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC seeks a Planner/Scheduler to develop CPM schedules for construction projects. You will work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to outline master timelines and coordinate submittals, reviews, and field activities.

The role requires hands-on planning, ability to travel to job sites, and the capacity to communicate schedule status monthly. Candidates should be comfortable with a safe, fast-paced plant or site environment and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
• Good reading, writing, and math skills for schedule management.
• Ability to work in plant operations or construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Draw up a master schedule with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Plan sequence of submittals, engineer review, O&M manuals, fabrication, assembly, installation, and construction of facilities for guidance of production workers.
• Confer with the superintendent and project manager to determine the status of assigned projects on a monthly basis.
• Complete routine site walks to evaluate the input into the schedule.
• Produce a monthly updated schedule for submission to parties.
• Prepare schedule reviews.
• Prepare bid schedules for proposals.
• Ensure schedules are copied and distributed.
• Assist other craft workers as needed.
