Job summary

TAK Broadband is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support telecom projects in the AZ market, including Phoenix and surrounding areas. The role provides administrative and operational support to the construction team, coordinating documentation, crew tracking, 811 locates, and invoicing readiness.

Officing out of Rimrock, AZ with travel to sites is required; up to 50% overnight stays annually. Strong organizational and communication skills, plus 1–3 years in project support, are expected.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in project support, construction administration, or related field (telecommunications experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); GIS or mapping software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting as-built documentation for completed telecom projects.
  • Support mapping and project records; ensure accuracy of system and field data.
  • Schedule and track 811 locate tickets and crew locations daily.
  • Help prepare project estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to gather required information and keep projects moving forward.
  • Travel to project sites with some overnight stays +/- 50% annually.

This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.

We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to support our construction projects in the AZ market (includes Phoenix, Sedona, Rimrock, Flagstaff, Prescott, Prescott Valley – must be willing to travel throughout this area). In this role you will provide administrative and operational support to the construction team, helping ensure telecom projects stay organized, accurate and on schedule. This role coordinates project documentation, crew tracking, 811 locates, billing support, estimates and communication with project managers, field teams, vendors and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently.

**Will be officing out of Rimrock, AZ but traveling through project sites as listed above - no physical address at this time**

The Role
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting as-built documentation for completed telecom projects
  • Support the creation and maintenance of mapping and project records, ensuring accuracy of system and field data
  • Schedule, track and maintain 811 locate tickets
  • Schedule, track and report crew locations daily
  • Help prepare project estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation for internal and client review
  • Partner with the billing team to provide project documentation, reconcile quantities, and resolve discrepancies for accurate invoicing
  • Maintain organized project files, reports, and trackers to support project managers and field teams
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to gather required information and keep projects moving forward
  • Provide general administrative support to project management, including scheduling meetings, updating project logs, and preparing status reports
  • Traveling to project sites with some overnight stays +/- 50% annually
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in project support, construction administration, or related field (telecommunications experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); GIS or mapping software experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to travel to project sites with some overnight stays +/- 50% annually
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and leadership
  • Ability to maintain strict timelines and due dates
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving
  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
