The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), which oversees over $2 billion in capital programs and projects, is responsible for capital planning, project delivery, property management, and real estate services for the Commonwealth. We are stewards of the Commonwealth’s assets, which include 61 million square feet of state buildings. As an agency, we care for the people of our state and the future of our planet.
DCAMM is a central agency in implementing several key policy priorities of the Healey-Driscoll Administration, including promoting decarbonization and climate resilience in all state facilities, identifying and facilitating opportunities to repurpose underutilized state property for housing production, and increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in public construction contracting and in the public construction workforce.
The Construction Coordinator II (CC II), within DCAMM’s Office of Design and Construction, monitors all phases of construction projects from start to final acceptance for compliance. The incumbent maintains project schedules and budgets and provides guidance and information pertaining to technical aspects of assigned projects.
This position involves assignment to projects primarily at the State House, but other assignments may be required depending on the needs of the Office of Design and Construction.
Applicants must have (A) at least five (5) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in trades, construction, construction management, inspection and/or alteration of building construction projects; or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Incumbents are required to have a current and valid Motor Vehicle Driver's License at a Class level specific to assignment.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for four (4) years ofthe required experience
