Mortenson Construction Coordinator I - Wind Group

Mortenson is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator I for the Wind Group. The ideal candidate should be able to interact effectively with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, proactivity, and professionalism with confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and organize punch lists, inventory, and work production plans for easy retrieval and documentation.
  • Process invoices and billing under the supervision of the project manager and/or project accountant.
  • Train new project admins/clerks.
  • Perform basic inventory control under the direction of project management staff.
  • Assist with record retention and document controls.
  • Conduct basic field quality and safety inspections.
  • Document conformance to plans and specifications.
  • Recommend potential solutions.
  • Promote Mortenson’s safety culture.
  • Build effective relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience on a construction site preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize construction management software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle detailed information and meet deadlines.
  • Multitasking ability.
  • Active listening skills and openness to diverse input and feedback.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100%.
Benefits

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $56,200 to $75,900, with higher ranges for certain locations (Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Washington, D.C.). Pay is based on experience, skills, and location.
