Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Controller in Orange, CA to oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations. You will manage the general ledger, payroll, AR/AP, budgeting and reporting, while coordinating audits and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction accounting, including percentage completion and WIP.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll systems and internal controls.
• Ability to prepare ad-hoc and monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, cash flow).
• Oversee budgeting, tax planning, and re-forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements internal accounting procedures and controls.
• Keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets.
• Prepares monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, income statements, P&L, cash flow).
• Maintains General Ledger, payroll, AR, AP, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Represents the company in external audits and coordinates year-end audit preparation.
