Job summary

gpac is seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls. The role ensures timely financial information and compliance with GAAP to support operational decisions and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
• CPA, MCA or CCIFP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, including reporting.
• Manage project accounting functions including job cost reporting, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition for construction and fabrication divisions.
• Review and analyze projections against actual results.
• Maintain accurate equipment cost allocations and utilization reporting.
• Ensure adequate cash flow for the organization's current operations and future growth.
• Oversee collections, billing, and accounts receivable management.
• Analyze financial performance and provide feedback to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Assist executive leadership in evaluating capital expenditures, acquisitions, and growth opportunities.
• Develop KPIs and financial dashboards.
• Oversee the relationship with independent auditors.
• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP and regulatory and tax requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance personnel.
• Oversee fixed asset program.
