Job summary

Jobot is assisting a rapidly growing Bay Area general contractor in finding a seasoned Construction Controller to oversee the entire accounting function and lead a team of accountants. The role offers top salary and bonus package, with emphasis on high-end ground-up and tenant-improvement projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction accounting, CPA not required but highly valued, and strong leadership and communication skills. Procore and QuickBooks experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction accounting, ideally with a general contractor.
• Proven experience as a Controller.
• QuickBooks experience is a must.
• Procore experience is a plus.
• Management experience is a plus.

A successful Controller should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in construction accounting, ideally with a general contractor
• Proven experience as a Controller
• QuickBooks experience a must
• Procore experience nice to have
• Management experience nice to have
